Programmes: Knowledge Skills
Transfer (KST)
Africans
in the diaspora are playing an increasing role in Europe.
Active in both the public and private sectors, they are
expanding their knowledge and skill base.
We could start adressing the increasing dearth of
professionals in African countries by devising measures that
would encourage and facilitate the transfer of skills to
these countries.
Objective:
Harnessing diaspora
knowledge and expertise for Africa’s development
Activities

Serve as think-thank that will analyze and
make available a customized view of best practices in

diverse fields – ICT, Management, Health etc… - to which the
management of private and public institutions from Africa
could attend.
-
Establish research partnerships and/or
special programs to initiate knowledge transfer.

Devise incentives that would encourage the
diaspora to accept temporary or permanent positions in
Africa.
